About the Program
The Summer Intensive Program at Victoria International Ballet Academy in Toronto, Ontario Canada is designed to develop well-rounded dancers through daily intensive training in Classical Ballet, Pointe and Contemporary, as well as Stretching & Conditioning classes. Dance repertoire from contemporary and classical repertoire. With renowned guest teachers, Plus of two masterclasses and lectures on physiotherapy and injury prevention. The three-week program concludes with a final showcase performance for participating students.
Students have the opportunity to work with some of Toronto’s best ballet and dance instructors and guest artists through intensive wraps up with a Dance Showcase for participating students.

Trained at the prestigious Perm Ballet School under renowned Vaganova pedagogue Lyudmila Sakharova. Internationally recognized ballet educator, choreographer, stage director, and adjudicator.
- Jera Wolfe
Award-winning choreographer whose acclaimed contemporary works have been created for The National Ballet of Canada, Canada’s National Ballet School, and leading dance organizations across North America.
- Vladislav Romaschenko
Former Second Soloist, National Ballet and Opera of Ukraine; Instructor of The National Ballet of Canada’s InStudio program.
- Sabina Yapparova
Former Soloist, Mikhailovsky Theatre, Russia, with over 22 years of professional experience.
- Jesui Monterrubio
Guest Artist with Victoria Ballet Company, specializing in classical technique, ballet history, and movement science.

Video Audition Submission Requirements
1. Your video must showcase short barre/centre combinations or a classical variation.
If currently dancing on pointe, please demonstrate some pointe work as well, whether that is through a combination or in a variation.
2. The video should be between 1.5 and 3 minutes in length.
3. Once completed, upload to YouTube, and share the link with VIBA by email.
If the video is small, it may be possible to attach it directly to an email.
4. Audition submission due by June 30
