Students build foundational principles of Vaganova ballet technique and progressively advance toward an intermediate level.
Adult Ballet Class opens with stretching and conditioning, incorporating elements of pilates to build strength, alignment, and flexibility.
Dancers then progress to barre exercises, center work, and across-the-floor combinations to develop coordination and artistry. Adult ballet students are also given the opportunity to perform on stage in Victoria Ballet Company Productions, such as “The Nutcracker”.

Character Dance is the selective incorporation of folk dance movements and styles, used to create divertissements in classical ballet stories. It is taught as an integral part of the classical ballet curriculum.

A fusion of ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical styles, where students explore floor work, improvisation, dynamic movements, and choreography to develop a versatile and expressive dance repertoire.

Experience personalized one-on-one training with our expert teachers. Receive focused attention and tailored instruction to achieve specific goals, whether refining technique, enhancing movement cleanliness, or mastering particular variations. Our dedicated teachers specialize in working with dancers, gymnasts, figure skaters, and competitive performers.
All ballet classes begin with stretching and conditioning. This portion of the class is designed to enhance full-body flexibility, condition muscles, and boost core strength.
Students can expect to learn choreography from various classical ballets, including variations and group dances, as part of their ballet training and additional rehearsals. Students prepare for Victoria Ballet Company productions, such as The Nutcracker and others, presented at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
Pointe classes are integrated into our ballet curriculum for students who have attained the requisite skill level. Intermediate Adult Ballet Students also have the option to participate in pointe classes. In these sessions, dancers engage in exercises specifically designed to enhance leg strength and refine technique.
