Avoid Headaches with After-school Extracurricular Activities for Your Kids
Parents spend time and money to enroll their children in after-school activity. Then many children want to try something else, and you have to move your child from one school to another, from one location to another one. There are ways to avoid this hustle.
Getting a good balance in education – arts, academics, and sport.
To help you solve the problem, we have expanded our programs at the Academy. Along with superior academic education and professional/recreational ballet training, we now offer 3 new programs – vocal, visual arts, and music. For full-time programs, we enroll students for kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. The following is the content of integrated artistic, sports and academic activities at the academy:
Physical activities: Ballet, Contemporary dance, Character dance, Gymnastics, Stretching
Artistic activities: Visual arts, Music, Vocal, Choir
- Preschool, Elementary, and High school education
- After-school programs, Researchers’ club, Success club
A good balance of academics, artistic and physical activities allows for a comprehensive mental, physical and emotional development of the student. Academic classes start at 9 a.m. and finish at 2-3 p.m. (Mathematics, English, French, Science, etc.) with a 45 minute lunch break. Specialized artistic activities take place from 2 or 3 p.m. After-school students can join any time after 3 pm. The late pick-up time is 7 p.m.
Parents benefit too. They do not have to drive their children from school to school. No need to hurry back from work and stress about being on time to so many different artistic after-school activities anymore. When parents of Arts and Science Academy students pick up their children, they feel satisfied of having provided them a complete education and still having the time to enjoy enough leisure time at home.
Arts and Science Academy is inspected by the Ministry of Education of Ontario. We are proud of all our graduate students’ results. Some of them have continued their education in universities of Toronto, Moscow, Frankfurt and Tokyo. One of our graduates, Elizaveta Mironova, is dancing with the Russian State Ballet of Moscow, and she is also attending the famous Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS). Another alumna Anastasia Loskutov is dancing for an American ballet company, besides being the Prima Ballerina for Victoria Ballet Company.
The advantage of having everything under one roof
Arts and Science Academy is a cultural and academic center, a unique place where children learn in a traditional but restructured setting with no need to worry about the type of health education provided, as we believe parents are the primary educators of their children with respect to learning about values, appropriate behaviour, and ethno cultural, spiritual, and personal beliefs and traditions.
As proactive parents we are always looking for the best place to complement the education we provide at home; you can be sure that Arts and Science Academy of Canada is the best choice when it comes to meeting your high expectations for both Academics and artistic education.
