Classical Ballet and Folk Dances at the Tulip Festival

Students of Victoria Ballet Academy will perform classical ballet and folk dances for the Tulip Festival in Ottawa, capital city of Canada, on Victoria Day, May 19, 2008. All students of Victoria Ballet Academy aged 10 and more are welcome to join our trip to Ottawa even if they are not performing at the festival. The departure time is 8 am on May 18, from the school. Returning time is 10 pm on May 19. Please contact us for more details.

VICTORIA BALLET ACADEMY MAKES IT ALL POSSIBLE!

Get ready for the new thrilling academic year and summer camp programs! Our academic year starts on September 2, 2008 and continues to June 19, 2009. The summer camp starts on July 7 and continues till August 29, 2008.

A foreign country can be both exciting and worrisome for international students. This is why Victoria Ballet provides constant support and attends to every need of their students. A school representative with a school bus will meet the international students at the Toronto Airport, and bring him or her to the designated residential place (host family). The student will be transported to and from the school, provided with meal and necessary stuff.

The academic program of the school complies with the curriculum of the Ontario Ministry of Education. Daily professional ballet training, art, music and extracurricular activities are added to the curriculum. A special tourism program on weekends is organized for foreign students.

March Break Camp With a Surprise!

Everyone is welcome to register for our March Break Camp at Victoria Ballet Academy.

It includes a special treat on Tuesday where all campers will have a chance to enjoy live organ music and be permitted to try to play it themselves!

Victoria Ballet Academy is authorized to grant High School Credits

Our school offers High School Credits for after school ballet classes. Victoria Ballet Academy is authorized by the Ontario Ministry of Education to grant High School Credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Our ballet program is a part of the compulsory Art Program in High School. Additional optional credits can be earned during four years of high school studies. A separate Ontario Diploma Transcript will be issued to successful students. It can be used by school graduates for university entrance, if a student wishes so. Summer Camp 2008

The summer camp of Victoria Ballet Academy is a unique source of strengthening natural child abilities and inspiration for better personal achievements. Our summer program quickly boosts physical and social development of children and makes them healthier and more confident.

The camp is located in Thornhill at Yonge Street, at Viva Blue bus stop, between Steeles Avenue, Highway #7, ETR 407, at intersection with Centre Street and John Street, on the edge of three of York Region municipalities – Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill, bordering north of Toronto. It is very close to public transportation and the Go Commuter Train.
