Camp
Our Day Camp offers dance training for young children from 4 to 8 years of age along with academic education. Victoria Ballet Academy, located in the Old Thornhill heritage district, municipality of Markham, is the ideal environment to cultivate both a child’s love for the art of dance and their enthusiasm for learning. The choreographic program follows the superior standards set by the time-honoured Vaganova syllabus. Our dance teachers and academic faculty develop the students culturally and academically while preparing them for our full-time or after-school programs.
We also offer a Summer Intensive Program for students aged 9 to 18. Children may take half-day camp and classes in a broad range of subjects. We have also incorporated a variety of extra-curricular activities including tours, swimming and art. Targeted academic tutoring can be arranged: ballet, gymnastics, music, vocal, math, chess, French, English, fun science, tours, swimming. All levels of academic tutoring towards high school credits are offered. Transportation is available, and breakfast and lunch are provided.
The camp is conveniently located in Thornhill at the intersection of Centre Street and Yonge Street, on the edge of three of York Region municipalities – Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto.
