Camp
Our day camps offer dance and sports training along with academic education during vacations. The Victoria Ballet Academy (which is, incidentally, located in the Old Thornhill heritage district) is the ideal environment to cultivate both a child’s love for the art of dance and enthusiasm for learning. The choreographic program follows the superior standards set by the time-honoured Vaganova syllabus. Our dance teachers and academic faculty develop the students culturally and academically while preparing them for our full-time or after-school programs.
We offer full day camp programs for 5- to 14-year-olds. Younger children may take half-day camp and classes in a broad range of subjects. We incorporated a variety of extra-curricular activities including tours, swimming and art. Targeted academic tutoring can be arranged: ballet, jazz, gymnastics, piano, music theory, choir, vocal, math, chess, French, English, fun science, tours, swimming. All levels of academic tutoring towards high school credits are offered. Transportation is available and three meals per day are also provided.
The camp is located in Thornhill at Yonge Street and the major intersection is Centre Street and Yonge Street. The location is very convenient - just on the edge of three of York Region municipalities – Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill, bordering the north side of Toronto.
