Victoria Ballet Academy is the school of Victoria Children’s Theatre. The school is comprised of two branches: evening and weekend classes and the professional academy of ballet where children study full time. Through comprehensive and rigorous process of education, promoting understanding of art and humanitarian values among children and their parents, and by means of sharing students’ achievements with the public audience, the organization covers performance, education and outreach for all segments of the community. In few years, its student may start to perform for the best theatres, including the National Ballet of Canada. The school has branches of music, vocal and visual arts.

This summer, on June 13 and 14, 2008, the ballet “Cinderella” on music by Sergey Prokofiev is debuting on the Toronto stage of the York Woods Library Theatre. Outstanding young dancers of the both full time day school and recreational program of the Victoria Ballet Academy will cast in the ballet. Without a doubt, it will be absolutely electrifying theatrical spectacle, with a good chance of becoming another repertory ballet of the company.
