What’s in a dance? Graduates of Victoria Ballet Academy (class of 2011) share their thoughts and emotions on one of the dances performed at the annual Gala concert.

Victoria Ballet Company announces “The Nutcracker” ballet performances at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) on December 15-18, 2011. Tickets are on sale now.

Excerpts from the examination performance by the middle school students of Victoria Ballet Academy and its International Ballet Academy of Canada division. These 10 and 11 years old dancers are privileged to have ballet and choreography classes as part of their daily curriculum, along with regular academic subjects. It creates a superior learning environment for both physical and intellectual development. Featured in this episode is the junior class of Victoria Mironova, one of the most distinguished ballet teachers in Canada. Their exam presentation exemplifies the highest standards of classical ballet education offered in North America.

Victoria Mironova’s Master Class at Beijing Dance Academy (China)

The International Ballet Competition for professional ballet schools in Beijing bring together best students and teachers from all over the world. Victoria Ballet Academy was the only school chosen by the Organizing Committee to represent Canada. Victoria Mironova, the founder and the Artistic Director of the school was invited to give a master class to the students of Beijing Dance Academy. This is a short version of the video, with the analytical introduction by the University of Toronto students.

Victoria Ballet Academy presents “Glimpses on the World of Ballet” series with Lisa Mironova. In this episode, her fellow students share inspiring personal stories and feelings about the school, and the evolution of their views on ballet.
