Ballet for Children. Beginners to Pre-Professional Level

The Recreational ballet program is designed for 3 to 6 year-old children: 1 hour per week. THE CURRICULUM focuses on the physical development of the child’s body through stretching, jumps, balance, and group work skills, music appreciation and on learning some of the basic ballet positions and movements.
The Beginner Ballet program is for 4 to 7 year old children: 2 hours per week.
THE CURRICULUM focuses on the physical development of the child’s body through stretching and physical exercises, and learning more advanced ballet positions and movements. Students learn manners, basic etiquette and simple dances.
The Intermediate ballet program is designed for children from 6 years of age. This program consists of 4 hours of class per week, on 2 days. Subjects: ballet, stretching, and character dance.
THE CURRICULUM focuses on the physical development of the child’s body, physical and mental endurance, ballet technique, basic theory, character dance, and stretching.

This class is best suitable for young children who have already had some experience with ballet or children above 6 years old who have never tried. If you have a younger student, please take a look at our Once Upon a Princess Program. If your child is 9 years of age or older and has had ballet training, please take a look at our Pre-Professional Ballet program.
